Soft silk sarees are manufactured with fine silk fiber with less Zari to maintain the soft texture and is less expensive. Soft silk is a natural protein fiber made by silk moth.

Tussar silk is made by the larvae of silk moths, living in the wild forest. They do not breed on mulberry, which is the most common food source for most silk worms. Though cheaper than mulberry silk, a genuine Tussar silk saree will little bit costlier. Tussar Silk has rich abrasive texture and fine fabric. Due to porous and breathable quality of Tussar Silk, one can wear in summer.

Pochampally, Ikat & Patola, basically refer to the same technique of weaving, which is a cross-over between printing and weaving. In this process, the design motifs are first printed, or resist-dyed, onto the warp or the weft threads, or both, and then diligently woven into a saree.
