Chanderi Sarees are prepared from Pure Silk, Chanderi Cotton or Silk Cotton. Generally Traditional Floral Art, Peacocks and Modern Geometric Designs are woven into different Chanderi Patterns. Chanderi is the traditionally ethnic fabric characterized by its light weight and luxurious appearance. The name Chanderi was taken up as it was a product from a small town in Madhya Pradesh named Chanderi where the ethnic weavers used to prepare hand crafted traditional Sarees in Silk and Cotton.
