Cotton silk is the amalgamation of cotton and silk in which, cotton is obtained from cotton plant and silk is obtained from silkworm. It is lightweight fabric and made by combining the positive characteristics of both Cotton and Silk fiber, into a single fabric.

Patola Silk Sarees are known for their unique weaving pattern and bright color combination, which remains intact for long time as these colors are obtained organically. Patola is double ikkat woven saree usually made from Silk. These are famous due to its ancient importance of Patam region in Gujarat. Patola are expensive saree, earlier mainly wore by royal families.
