Georgette Sarees are light weight attire made in solid colors and prints. These sarees are made from silk with highly twisted yarns. Georgette is a kind of crepe fabric which is typically made from pure silk but can also be formed from synthetic fibers viscose, polyester and rayon. Being the lightweight saree, they are mostly worn in spring and summer season, although one can wear it all year round.

A Khadi Georgette saree is a combination of two types of fabric types khaddi and Georgette. Khaddi refers to hand woven fabric usually made from cotton, while Georgette is a sheer, lightweight fabric traditionally made from silk or synthetic fibers.
