Georgette Sarees are light weight attire made in solid colors and prints. These sarees are made from silk with highly twisted yarns. Georgette is a kind of crepe fabric which is typically made from pure silk but can also be formed from synthetic fibers viscose, polyester and rayon.

Pure Georgette Silk sarees are best quality of georgette, woven from silk yarns. Silk georgette sarees are breathable and all-climate fabric. Being the lightweight saree, they are mostly worn in spring and summer season, although one can wear it all year round.

Faux Georgette is an artificial version of georgette made of twisted yarns of rayon, polyester or nylon rather than silk.
