Bishnupuri Silk is woven using mulberry silk obtained from silkworms, and the whole production procedure involves several complicate steps. Skilled weavers scrupulously handloom this silk using traditional techniques which are passed down through generations. Bishnupuri Silk is light in weight and it’s easy to wear and maintain.

Hand Block printing is time taking process so making one saree consumes lots of time and energy. We wanted to showcase the hard work of weavers as they have used a number of techniques to make the fabric elegant. The Hand Block Printing Pattern differs from State to State. In some states, the weavers are doing hand block printing with the help of wooden blocks. To give the fabric elegant look, some weavers are using special handcrafted wooden and metal blocks to create beautiful designs.
