Cotton sarees are made by natural cloth created from cotton plant fibers. Cotton is having a wide range of weaves, it is the most versatile, soft and widespread fabric in the world. Cotton sarees are mostly preferred due to its lightweight and airy properties. Cotton sarees are known for their exquisite weaving.
Cotton silk is the amalgamation of cotton and silk in which, cotton is obtained from cotton plant and silk is obtained from silkworm. It is lightweight fabric and made by combining the positive characteristics of both Cotton and Silk fiber, into a single fabric.
Kota Doria has been known all over the world for its finest open weaving craft. Kota Doria is sheer in nature due to its blend of cotton and silk yarn. As it is partly prepared by Silk fibers, it has a quality of softness. In fact, it has all the positive qualities of both the Cotton and Silk fabric. Kota Doria has the same strength as Cotton and same compelling shine and softness as silk. Kota Doria or Kota Doriya is the light woven fabric made of tiny woven squares, handwoven on traditional pit looms in Kaithoon near Kota in Rajasthan and in some of the surrounding villages.
