Description
Tussar silk is made by the larvae of silk moths, living in the wild forest. Tussar Silk has rich abrasive texture and fine fabric. Due to porous and breathable quality of Tussar Silk, one can wear in summer also. Ghicha is the silken yarn obtained from cocoons which do not get included in the routine process of reeling in of Tussar silk directly from the cocoon.
Shibori is a Japanese dyeing technique that makes dye-resists in the cloth by pleating, folding and/or bunching the fabric. These folds are then bound with stitching, clamps or rubber bands, preventing the dye from penetrating.
