Tussar silk is made by the larvae of silk moths, living in the wild forest. They do not breed on mulberry, which is the most common food source for most silkworms. Though cheaper than mulberry silk, a genuine Tussar silk saree will little bit costlier. Tussar Silk has rich abrasive texture and fine fabric. Due to porous and breathable quality of Tussar Silk, one can wear in summer also.
