Deep Prussian blue meets hot pink in this royal Darbari saree, inspired by the courtly textiles of Rajasthan and the rich florals of Kashmir. The body is woven all over with fine multicolour flowers. Bold pink borders with mustard-gold edging frame the drape, and the pallu is the showpiece: figures in oval frames surrounded by dense Kashmiri-style floral weaving, ending in a zari band.
Pashmina silk is soft and has a warm, slightly matte richness. It drapes smoothly and feels comfortable for long wedding functions, especially in the cooler months.
